Getting your Hope up

When children are young they often make lists of what they want for Christmas. I mean loooonnnng lists and often very specific. In one sense they put their hope in their list and are often disappointed when they don't get everything they wanted.

How about adults? What are we hoping for? As Christians begin a season of expectation called Advent many will light a candle and focus on a specific theme each Sunday. Many churches will focus on Hope this week. Thus, our crossword reflects on some expectations of the Jews as they waited for God to send the Messiah.
